And that's a wrap!

On our final session with our companies our group created an Oscars type activity to reward the companies on their hard work, dedication, and cooperation.

Each group was instructed to create certification congratulating each individual student. Our group's certificates were:

This form of appreciated expressed how proud we were of our company JACK D.L.'s progress and cooperation throughout the entire BizMovie experience.

Next, we took the time to watch all four company's completed movies. Their facial expressions of accomplishment and dedication were enough to brighten any teacher's day. To show our appreciation to the company's efforts, as a group of teacher candidates, we created an award ceremony. An example of the certificates we gave JACK D.L. are:
Along with each company receiving two company wide awards we gave each representative of a company and small trophy to give them a visual of accomplishment!

Throughout this process I felt an extremely rewarding feeling. Both the teacher candidates and companies seemed to really enjoy the process and outcome. I have never been more proud of my students and would most definitely use BizMovie within one of my future classrooms. Not only did the students learn how to work together but they also learned about economics and the features of a company without even realizing because they were enjoying it so much!

This has been overall an amazing experience and I am beyond thankful I could be apart of such an amazing learning experience!
