While attending Mount Saint Mary College I have found how important it is for students to express themselves as our future. As technology advances, self expression increases immense amounts! We can now connect with other schools, countries, friends, and family. Ideas are being shared at a rapid rate!
Similar to many people before our parents generation they are simply afraid of technology believing that computers are rotting our brains, when in fact they are broadening. The connections and ability to interact with anyone around the world is amazing.
Technology within the classroom is one of the strongest advances we have come to see. I am beyond excited to learn so many different ways to use technology in the classroom in one of my college courses. We are using new computer programs to enhance the learner's ability to create, inspire, and express. The ability to have new programs that can enhance creativity is an amazing accomplishment in the world today!
I am extremely excited to write a blog sharing my adventure with the world through technology with my class and the students we are working with.... It is going to be one fun ride!
